|The core of the ArGroup activities are the molding departments. Considerable investments are channelled into these departments each year to ensure constant technological updating in an environment that focuses on factors such as luminosity, c1eanliness, layout and comfort.
The production is performed on 140 presses that range from 25 to 400 tons; these can transform approximately 2000 tons of compound each year.
The raw materials are stored in special departments fitted with c1imate control devices where necessary. Each individual batch of material is identified by a special code number that enables tracking of the finished product. AFIFO system manages the distribution; in the event of materials that are sensitive to storage limes, special management programs are implemented lo avoid any alteration of their properties.
Transformation of thermoplastics
and thermoplastic elastomers
The technology ArGroup user for the transformation of thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomers includes presse from 25 – 200 tons and the following specialization:
► Transformation of thermoplastic elastomers (TPU – TPE – TPV - TEEE) For technical and cosmetic applications
► Automatic molding with inserts the horizontal presses
► Technical molding of thin-walled pieces
►Design production of equipment and tools for the automatic management of the molded pieces and the loading onto pallets
Transformation of the multi-components
In the transformation of multi-components, ArGroup exploits presses with two injection units from 100 tons to 320 tons and the following specialization:
► Co-molding with rotating table
► Co-molding with index plate
► Over-molding with insert repositioning
► Automatic systems of loading and unloading by means of Cartesian and anthropomorphological robots
► Control and packing stations adjoining the machines
Transformation of liquid silicone rubbers
In the transformation of liquid silicone, ArGroup exploits plant of between 45 and 125 tons and the following specialized activities:
► Aolding with cold runner system with free-flow nozzles and with needle valve nozzles
► Automatic over-molding of plastic inserts
► Over-molding of LSR on LSR
► Molding of very thick pieces using the ‘intrusion system’
► Molding of thin-walled pieces
This division, ArGroup produces permanent plastic magnets, both isotropic and anisotropic, with in-house design and manufacture of the molds and the equipment necessary for the orientation and the magnetization of the components.
